Sony PlayStation 4 Sales Surpass 60.4 Million Worldwide

Some great PlayStation 4 (PS4) statistics out of Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) today:

  • More than 60.4M units of PS4 have been sold worldwide as of 11/06/2017
  • More than 487.8M copies (retail and digital download) of PS4 software titles sold in the same period

Not to be outdone by hardware sales, Sony also experience some great movement on the user engagement front as well:

  • By end of March, 2017 Sony had over 70M monthly active users worldwide
  • Over the same period, over 26.4M paid subscribers on PlayStation Plus
  • Active players spent more than 600M hours per week on the Sony Platform during that time as well
